Architecture Decision Records capture genuine architectural decisions across the estate. Only decisions become ADRs — ratifications of existing documents are logged in the relevant session record (e.g. ARS-001 §6) without ADR numbers.
ADR-001 through ADR-007 were filed at ARS-001 (Architecture Review Session 001 · Sunday 12 July 2026), which froze Release 1.0 scope.
ADR-008 through ADR-011 were filed at ARS-002 (Architecture Review Session 002 · Sunday 12 July 2026), which resolved BEDL v0.2 §Q-BEDL-06 (light-surface token table).

Filing discipline
Each ADR is a standalone document with Context, Decision, Consequences, and Status sections. New ADRs land via governance PR with sponsor sign-off. Breaking changes to sponsor-locked tokens or Canon-level decisions require an ADR at Estate Canon level.
